English Language Challenges
Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well ;) Today I want to talk to you about my experience learning English at university.
This is my second year taking the English subject, since in my first year when I took the English test I was able to exempt myself until the first semester of the second year. The first year taking English was online and honestly it was very strange, nobody turned on the camera and they only talked through the chat, that year I didn't learn much.
But in the second year, coming to face-to-face classes was a breakthrough for me, first because I really like the methodology and each class was entertaining, not structured like those of other years.
I never had a good base in English since at school I only had English for a few weeks, but what is most difficult for me is speaking, since there are many words that I don't know how to say in English and that stresses me out a bit, when I practice alone in I can do well in my bedroom but being with many people I get nervous and forget everything.
I started using Duolingo a few months ago and it is really very useful, but I feel that the words I have learned are not very related to a phrase that I can use in my day to day, I also listen to music in English and that has really helped me enough to improve the fluency to speak.
And well, thank you very much for reading my blog! I hope you have a nice day.
